World Ballet Day 2022 and our collaboration with the Royal Academy of Dance

World Ballet Day is a day of celebration in the dance community. We’re taking this opportunity to explore the last few months of our collaboration with the Royal Academy of Dance in Australia.

Our collaboration with the Royal Academy of Dance provides RAD Registered Teachers in Australia a 40% discount on individual Rambert Grades membership. This first-of-its-kind collaboration brings together two world-leading dance education and training brands in an exciting new relationship.

Since the announcement of this collaboration in August, we have met many teachers from across Australia who have now completed Rambert Grades Syllabus Training, and are beginning to deliver the syllabus to their students.

Rambert Grades Invited Choreographer and Artistic Director of Rambert, Benoit Swan Pouffer, said

“This collaboration between Rambert Grades and the Royal Academy of Dance offers even more young people the opportunity to discover their talent, and how the power of dance can change their lives. I’m really excited for young dancers of Australia to explore my choreography, as Artistic Director of Rambert, alongside celebrated international artists such as Hofesh Shechter.”

Shelley Yacopetti, Education and Engagement Manager, RAD Australia said

“Rambert Grades is at the forefront of contemporary dance training, developed alongside leaders in the field and influential contemporary dance makers. This collaboration is an exciting opportunity for RAD Registered Teachers to bring something fresh to Australian dancers and expand their studio offering with a training programme that is truly innovative and accessible to all.”
