Grade 4

Introduction

In Grade 4 will you see the introduction of extended movement phrases, challenging students with notions of on/off balance whilst building strength on core and legs. The floor work vocabulary becomes more present and complex, incorporating all the elements learnt and introducing new ones that challenge coordination.

Opening of Class

The Opening of class is an important element of each Grade. It prepares the students for each session, allowing them to leave what has happened outside of the studio behind and focus on their body and being in the present moment. It can also help to create a safe and secure environment within the studio setting.
